TORONTO'S RIVER TIBER RELEASES "INDIGO"
One of Toronto’s rising artists River Tiber AKA Tommy Paxton-Beasley recently debut his full-length album “Indigo” on the early release date of June 20th. A multi-talented producer and songwriter, his atmospheric compositions are rich with psychedelic crescendos and layered vocal harmonies. Growing up classically trained his musical background is evident when listening to the complex melodies that he brings to his music. His singles “No Talk” and “West”, with Toronto’s own Daniel Ceaser, are featured on the album (listen below)...
as well as “I’m a stone” which was recently released just before the album.
Paxton has an electronic/R&B esthetic and has contributed and been influenced by Toronto’s musical culture. He has done several collaborations with artists such as Kaytranada, BADBADNOTGOOD, and Pusha-T and his ability to fuse his moody and down-tempo sounds with other artist’s musical stylings and visions makes him a masterful and creative producer. You may have also heard Tommy’s track “No Talk” (listen below) being sampled in Drake’s “No Tellin”.
