COLEMAN HELL IS STILL A "KILLER"
Quiet for sometime since singles like "2 Heads" and "Fireproof" blew up radio stations and echoed over dance floors well into the night, Toronto based artist Coleman Hell is back. With a new album on the way later this summer, "Killer" is a first tease at what Coleman has been up to. With more than a million monthly listeners Hell has a devoted following who are certainly eager for the Thunder Bay artist to please. '
His earlier work kept feet moving and bodies grinding and "Killer" is very much in the same vein albeit with signs of some 80s inspiration. Jarring and looping synth sounds overlap the driving back beat and upbeat pop vibes Coleman has been known for. Coleman's raspy, seductive voice helps you sink into the rhythm and follow the beat. This is a steamy song and its bound to spice up your night at least once.
Based on the single artwork perhaps Hell's upcoming album will be full of 80s inspired tracks. One thing we do is that Hell knows how to put out a banger. "Killer" has some tough competition in the singles department of Hell's archives. But play after play this song grabs you and its obvious that with "Killer", Hell has is eyes set on the top again, and this song might be the one take a few giants down.
