Alabama Shakes' much anticipated sophomore album Sound & Color is out in April, but learlier in March, they performed two tracks from the upcoming record on "Saturday Night Live”. They played their first single, the upbeat and funky “Don’t Wanna Fight”, in addition to another cut off their new album, “Gimme All Your Love”. Slower tempo than the band’s first single, “Gimme All Your Love” is a powerful soul ballad with a heart-clenching course that really highlights lead singer Brittany Howard’s extraordinary vocals. It’s a remarkably gorgeous preview of what Alabama Shakes will be bringing to their forthcoming album. Watch them perform “Gimme All Your Love” live on SNL below.

Their new album, Sound & Color, is set for release on April 21st. Alabama Shakes will be headlining this year’s Field Trip Festival at Fort York and Garrison Commons on Saturday June 6th.
