FLORENCE + THE MACHINE - ST JUDE

March 25, 2015

Florence + The Machine is back, and they have some pretty big plans for 2015. In addition to the release of the much anticipated third album, How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful on May 29th, the British songstress has announced a whole slew of festival dates for 2015. Florence will be appearing at Bonnaroo, Coachella, Governor’s Ball, Lollapalooza, Osheaga, and Bestival Toronto, as well as a number of European and UK festivals this summer. She released the debut single off her upcoming album last month, “What Kind of Man”, and this week the band unveiled another track. “St. Jude” is a more tender and subdued preview of the album, especially in comparison to the much heavier “What Kind of Man”, positioning Welch’s massive and intimate vocals against a soft baroque pop backdrop.
