BLACK KEYS SIDE PROJECT - THE ARCS

July 20, 2015

Dan Auerbach’s one-off psychedelic 7-inch side project band The Arcs has transformed into a full-fledged Black Keys side project with a new full-length on the way this fall. The group sees Auerbach teaming up with Truth and Soul Records founder Leon Michels, Black Keys touring bassist Richard Swift, Menahan Street Band member Homer Steinweiss, Amy Winehouse collaborator Nick Movshon, guitarist Kenny Vaughan, plus the members of all-female mariachi band Mariachi Flor de Toloache.

The band already revealed boxing-themed lead single “Stay In My Corner”, which you can listen to below. The single release that featured “Stay in My Corner” and other boxing side-track “Tomato Can” dropped May 2nd to coincide with the big Floyd Mayweather/Manny Pacquiao match in Las Vegas.

The upcoming full-length album, titled 'Yours, Dreamily', will be released on September 4th via Nonesuch, the same label that has brought you the past five Keys records. Until then, the band has debuted new single "Outta My Mind" as a 7-inch single alongside non-LP track "My Mind”. You can stream “Outta My Mind” here:
