The future is very bright for Tourist Dollars, an Australian band that is capturing hearts and minds with the enchanting sounds of their new single, "End of Time, Melting Minds." This recent release is chock-full of haunting vocals and some of the most refreshing melodies you’ll hear anywhere. Tourist Dollars is fronted by Jesse McCormack, a virtuoso who is no stranger to the Toronto music scene, having had his music played regularly on Indie88.

"End of Time, Melting Minds" could be described as a sadder, softer version of a 1960’s surf/psychedelic rock tune. Think The Beach Boys crossed with The Lumineers. However, it is really one-of-a-kind. The bewitching guitar strums and upbeat, melodious drums will place any listener in a nostalgic trance, and leave you feeling pleasantly wistful.

If you like "End of time, Melting Minds", be sure to check out the rest of Tourist Dollars’ new EP, which features four killer tunes that contain a mix of soft instrumentals, reverb guitar and evocative lyrics.

Brooklyn Semhar waxes melancholic and laments a family divided on “Daddy.” This track is a smouldering, slow-burning groove that pulls itself along with all the moodiness of its subject matter. It is arranged beautifully, and reflects a refreshing jazz influence in its...
