The eclectic indie pop band has been making waves throughout 2016 and just recently they released a few more follow up tracks to their hit single “Body Moves.” Led by veteran front man Joe Jonas DNCE combines catchy lyrics and a fun aesthetic with contagious groove and rhythm. This band’s music is all about positivity as well as partying and this message has no problem surfacing with their newest single “Good Day.”

Although not overly impressed with what I find is a juvenile chorus the verses provide that familiar seductive bass line that is expected from DNCE’s music. It’s a fast paced lyrical onslaught featuring Joe Jonas’ signature sultry vocals along with the fresh accompaniment of the band’s backup singing to fill out the sound.

The tune is an overall bop and if you find yourself having a bad day throw it on and watch everything flip upside down. I have no doubt in my mind that DNCE are here to stay and will continue to provide us with head banging, foot tapping tracks to keep us all dancing.

Brooklyn Semhar waxes melancholic and laments a family divided on “Daddy.” This track is a smouldering, slow-burning groove that pulls itself along with all the moodiness of its subject matter. It is arranged beautifully, and reflects a refreshing jazz influence in its...
