A new Indie-Pop band called CNMA from Orlando released their debut EP “OU+” on October 14th. The band consists of three members: Austin Grey, Tristan Temmel and Adam Fontana. Their first single “Royal” came out in advance of the EP on September 23rd.

“Give It Up” is one of the songs on their 5-song EP. The indie tune has an electronic sound to it. That sound comes from the beat and the reverb in the chorus. “Give It Up” has the most plays on Spotify out of all the songs on “OU+,” sitting at 258. This could be because of its catchy refrain and simple lyrics, which makes it an easy song to remember and to sing along with. The reverb also makes the song sound big, like it was recorded in a very large space. This adds an interesting affect to it, and gives the song it’s own distinct vibe.

Brooklyn Semhar waxes melancholic and laments a family divided on “Daddy.” This track is a smouldering, slow-burning groove that pulls itself along with all the moodiness of its subject matter. It is arranged beautifully, and reflects a refreshing jazz influence in its...
