Not into your classic Christmas standards?  Michael Buble and Jewel just a little bit too mellow for your eggnog pouring, tree decorating, winter season?  Good thing Mad Decent continues to release holiday music to put some trap in your carols.

Like previous versions of “A Very Decent Christmas,” the album includes dance remixes of classic Christmas carols, but this year, they introduce original songs featuring a wide array of artists.  Major Lazer kick off the album with a collaboration from Protoje.  In the style of Protoje’s solo work, the song has a reggae vibe that will surely brighten up your chilly winter days, if not put you in a smokey daze.  “Christmas Trees,” promotes the celebration of a few different kinds of green plants, not just the one you decorate with your family, if you know what I mean.

It may not be your conventional holiday song, however, after their first Christmas release in 2013, this should come as no surprise.  It’s guaranteed to put a bit more edge into your December playlist.  You can check out the “Christmas Tree” along with the entirely of “A Very Decent Christmas 4” here:
