TIM NORTH - "FUCK LUCK"

December 8, 2016

Tim North released a new song at the end of November “Fuck Luck.” His first song in a year, it was featured on a Spotify New Music Friday playlist and DJBooth. The Toronto artist and DJ’s first single was 100PROOF in April 2015.

“Fuck Luck” is a catchy hip-hop song. Tim North is a smooth rapper; his voice has a talk-sing, almost Drake-like quality to it. The song is about not feeling like he needs a lot of luck, which makes sense considering he dropped his first song since November 2015 and is at 12.5K listens on SoundCloud 8 days later. Wherever he’s been for the last year, he’s been working hard on this song and it shows. Strong production from S.L.M.N and Chef Byer adds to the vibe of the song. Hopefully it isn’t another year before Tim North reappears after this single.
