FYUTCH & Boba Sweat's new song, Catch Me Cruisin' (feat. Petty) starts off strong, coming in with an undeniable electronic feel. While it is a bit hard to understand what they're saying (spoiler alert: it's "catch me cruisin"...), it is absolutely a danceable beat. Maybe not at a club, but conveniently it would be a very good song to be caught cruisin' to. After just over a minute of what I decided was the chorus of the song, it goes into a rap verse, which I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting! I wasn't mad at it though, I'm personally more a fan of rap than I am of electronic. That being said, this song does a refreshingly good job at combining electronic music with rap, in a way that was unique to me. The two genres mesh so well that I didn't even notice when the rap verse ended and the electronic chorus began, until it jumped into the next chorus! One comment I do have about this song though, is that it sort of reminded me of video game music at times? But I'm almost positive that's just because I don't listen to a lot of electronic music. BUT the cover art for this song is in an 8-bit art style, so maybe it was intentional...?

Either way, if you're a fan of electronic music and rap, this song is definitely for you! Check out @FYUTCH and @BobaSweat on Twitter!
