This isn't the first time we've covered this band. Bad Pop is a new wave trio hailing from Vancouver, British Columbia who just released their new edgy track “Same House” available on all platforms May 5th. After listening to this tune I can only imagine they’re a riot live. Sometimes you can just hear in the energy of a recorded track how hyped the band is going to be in person and sometimes you can’t and then they surprise you.

This track feels like a dysfunctional, yet sound, crescendo of chaotic, psychedelic new wave rock. The chorus is a tidal wave, pulling you under before you gently float into the verses and then skid into that garage band influenced instrumental break.

This Canadian band is making their way over to the UK for the first time on May 18th to play a headliner show at London’s Sebright Arms before they play two shows at Brighton’s Great Escape Festival.

Brooklyn Semhar waxes melancholic and laments a family divided on “Daddy.” This track is a smouldering, slow-burning groove that pulls itself along with all the moodiness of its subject matter. It is arranged beautifully, and reflects a refreshing jazz influence in its...

Canadian singer-songwriter Kiesza is back! After the enormous popularity of her 2014 house-pop single ‘Hideaway’, she went on collaborate with a stunning array of famous names. Names like Skrillex, Diplo, and Duran Duran, to name a few. Tragically, her career was put o...
