Christina Cuesta Loeb released a dreamy, refreshing single titled “Grass It Grows”. The New York City native born into a family of musicians draws inspiration from Green Day, The Smashing Pumpkins, Fiona Apple and Sheryl Crow. Her sound is an intriguing combination of dark, haunting melodies and dreamy instrumentals and vocals.

The single bring words of encouragement in the world of Dream Pop. Her lyrics inspire self-acceptance as she sings: “Grass it grows /With no pressure to be tall and green /Just the way nature knows it grows/Stretching in front of me/Found my way naturally”. Loeb reminds us to remember where we came from and who we are meant to be. We should not part from our roots and instead follow our hearts.

She says, “We are often told where to go, what to do, and how to think… no one tells grass how to grow. It just does, free of any force or pressure”. This powerful statement is demonstrated in this single and we can hear more of her incredibly strong and independent sound off her self-produced 4 track EP titled “Dive”.
