It’s almost that time of year again for everyone’s favourite season. That’s right, festival season. And with that comes Canada’s largest camping and country music festival Boots and Hearts. Located at Burl’s Creek event grounds in Oro-Medonte, Ontario, Boots and Hearts takes place from August 10th – 13th and is filled with family, friends, and a whole lot of good times. The 2017 edition is a four-day celebration of country music where festival goers can band together and experience a line-up of more than 35 artists, ranging from emerging artists, to global superstars.

Even though the complete lineup has not yet been released, it stands now as a very impressive array of country stars, present, and future. The three main headliners are superstars Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, and Brantley Gilbert. Luke Bryan, the Georgia born singer, and song writer began writing music in the mid-2000s, though really hit his stride when he signed with Capitol Nashville in 2007. Keith Urban, the New Zealand-born Australian-American country musician first released a self-titled debut album in Australia back in 1991, though made his American debut in 1999 also entitled “Keith Urban”. This album became certified platinum and produced his first number one with “But for the Grace of God” on Hot Country Songs. Next up we have Brantley Gilbert, an American singer, songwriter, and record producer hailing from Jefferson, Georgia. Originally signed to Average Joes Entertainment, Gilbert went on to release two projects known as “Modern Day Prodigal Son”, and “Halfway to Heaven”, before signing to the Valory division of Big Machine Records.

In addition to the headliners, festival goers can enjoy the stylings of a plethora of artists such as Brett Eldredge, Eli Young Band, Dan + Shay, Chad Brownlee, Jess Moskaluke, Tucker Beathard, Endless Summer, The Abrams, Jesse Gold, Andrew Hyatt, and even Kiefer Sutherland of “24”, and “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain” fame, among many others.

If you are an avid country fan looking for an escape from your daily stresses and responsibilities, the 4 day vacation that Boots and Hearts offers might be the exact get away you’ve been looking for. See you on August 10th.
