Elusive London-based newcomer Miink released his first single “Who Are You?” last month… and after a few listens, we definitely want to ask him the very same question.

“Who are You?” is a trippy joint that delicately works its way under your skin, giving you chills. The song has a certain magnetic power to it with its slow-bulding, minimal beat and claustrophobic, icy atmosphere.

Written and produced by Miink himself, the R&B, Trip-Hop infused song is a scintillating piece brought to life by haunting chimes, infrequent percussion, snare snaps, bass wobbles and Miink's floating vocals and falsetto.

Speaking about the track Miink says: "'Who Are You?’ is about territorial behavior and the reaction you get as an outsider crossing into an unfamiliar place. You are always easily identifiable to those from within, and more often than not, met unfavorably. " (via The Fader)

Miink also directed the video for the song. Shot in an elevator, the visual perfectly embodies the mood of the song.
