Titus Makin is a pop artist, songwriter and actor originally from Sierra Vista, Arizona (now based in Los Angeles) who rose to fame a few years ago thanks to his time on Fox's "Glee". Earlier this year, he released his breakout track 'Ropes' from his debut EP, “Love Addict”.
Today, the multi-skilled artist who cites Lenny Kravitz, Pharrell Williams, Cee Lo Green or Adam Levine as some of his musical inspirations is back with ’Good Love’ (feat. Megan Tibbits), another hit single from the same EP.
The song is an enthusiastic, festive catchy pop track celebrating love and all the joy that it brings. There is a 'feel good' quality to the song that lifts the spirits and brightens the mood. The track is also elevated by Makin's soulful voice and Megan Tibbits' haunting, sirenlike background vocals.
Speaking about the song, the 28-year-old explains:
"I wrote Good Love with my co-writer Aaron Kellim about the pure love I had for watching my parent's relationship grow deeper and deeper throughout my life. I'd wake up in the morning to the smell of breakfast and seeing them dancing around in the kitchen, exchanging the most joyful moments while listening to the old time hits. That visual memory literally drove the lyrics of the entire song. Expressing how I am so excited and can't wait to share that ‘good love’ with my ‘someone special’".
Titus Makin is currently working on his second EP “Lean” which is set to be released early 2018.
