Tyler Cratcha, aka TyC, first established himself as a member/keyboardist of the band Carousel. He has spent 2016 shadow producing and working with a network of artists signed with different labels and is now getting ready to release his second EP this year. In the meantime, the Cleveland native just released a new track, “B W/ U” (Feat. Scootie & Curly Chuck).

TyC wrote and produced “B W/ U” featuring up and coming artists Scootie and Curly Chuck. The track is an aerian, dancy electro-pop song incorporating elements of R&B. There is a polished modernity to it with its (minimal) funky guitar and pulsing bass.

Scootie’s silky tone fits perfectly over top the electro driven beat and his R&B sensibilities give the drop chorus the edge it needs. Cleveland native, Curly Chuck finishes off the song in style foreshadowing a new project between him and TyC next month that we’ll have to keep an eye out for!

Brooklyn Semhar waxes melancholic and laments a family divided on “Daddy.” This track is a smouldering, slow-burning groove that pulls itself along with all the moodiness of its subject matter. It is arranged beautifully, and reflects a refreshing jazz influence in its...
