Chicago producer Shallou has found his way from the bedroom, where he honed in on his sound, to Spotify billboards that cemented his place in the indie/electro scene.  “Find” is the latest release from the artist, and the second of his singles from his upcoming debut EP, Souls.

In keeping with the tone of his earlier releases, “Find” is airy and full of breathe.  It’s scooped up by light and tropical electronic beats and a vocal feature by Cody Lovaas pushes the song into the soulful, indie genre.  With production from Kasbo to top off the collaboration, the trio leaves us in a delicate trance from start to finish.

Souls, which is set to release on April 27th, will feature both “Find,” and Shallou’s previous release, “Lie."  The EP follows last year’s All Becomes Okay which gave the artist radio exposure on Sirius XM Chill and brought him to stages across North America.  With high standards set for Shallou, we eagerly await the release of Souls later this spring.

Listen to “Find,” now.

It's not that often that I find acoustic songs completely fulfilling. Prom Queen Crown by Rallie and Coal however has all the needed elements. Captivating chord progressions, beautiful vocals and subtle progression to provide expanding elements.

Rallie & Coal are an art...

Not only is the song concept very ironically relatable to this rising generation, but this production is incredibly refreshing. From the chord progression to the balance of nostalgic and modern synths, quirky percussion and of course Anna's angelic vocal tone. And she'...

Brooklyn Semhar waxes melancholic and laments a family divided on “Daddy.” This track is a smouldering, slow-burning groove that pulls itself along with all the moodiness of its subject matter. It is arranged beautifully, and reflects a refreshing jazz influence in its...
