It’s not every day that two musicians find the perfect partnership the first time they step into the studio.  Maybe Josh and Emma got lucky when they found each other.  With their latest single, “Sweat Dreams,” it sure sounds that way.  WESLEE is an electro-r&b power duo, with Kansas’ Josh on production and London’s Emma on vocals. Together they blend dance beats, and smooth, soulful vocals.  The resulting grooves cannot be ignored.

WESLEE have grabbed the attention of DJ Annie Mac, blasted off the Spotify charts and shared a stage with Jessie Ware and Sunflower Bean. “Sweat Dreams,” let’s the momentum of their previous releases continue.

“Sweat Dreams” is a slow, upbeat jam that grabs you from the start. Her vocals really remind me of NAO.  If you don’t already know of the pop duo, you’ll be hooked with one spin.  It’s undoubtedly pop driven, but the soulfulness of WESLEE’s r&b and disco influences shine through ever so slightly.  Encouraging their listeners to not let their minds get the best of them, the duo let’s their optimistic side have a say.

Listen to “Sweat Dreams” now.
