Following on from the release of their critically praised new single “Silver Ray” back in March, Melbourne-based indie-rock trio Halcyon Drive have just revealed the accompanying video.

Shot by Corey Millard at Melbourne Park Tennis Centre, and directed and edited by the group themselves, the compelling clip captures the upbeat pace and features striking stop motion visuals synchronized to the beat of the track.

Band members Michael Oechsle and Max Pamieta describe the motivation behind the clip: “The Silver Ray clip concept spawned from identifying what could be called an urban blank canvas; empty spectator seats. By focusing on motion and movement, we hoped to translate the energy and buoyancy of the song, more visual than narrative. Something creative, fresh and fun. It was the most fun we've had doing a clip so far”.
