This debut single from LA based artist Daria Black is somewhat of a second-coming, a rising from the musical ashes so to speak. Originally a demo released 2 years ago that left  thousands of hungry-for-more fans wanting more, Daria went back and reworked her project, fine tuning her production in order to "top-up" her first iteration.

Tight production, wonderfully clean composition and beautifully delivered vocals make up the 2.0 version of "Mind Heart Body", justifying and repaying Black for the hard work. This song may one of the heart's woes but the driving 808s and balanced synth melodies will keep you jiving, even if you shed a tear. The song builds slowly, but constantly as Black brings the mood lights down and she mirrors this rise with an energetic chorus that will surely having you singing at the wheel.

Hopefully more is on the way and fans can expect more soon from the mood setting mystic-pop artist.

Yes, it might be late on in the year but Violet LaVelle’s “Summer Love”, from September’s “Afraid To Say I Love You” is a bright, poppy bop about the complexity of confusing the love of summer with a summer love. From the unwound cassette cover art with hand-made mixta...
