VALNTN IS LINING UP TO SEE "MONA LISA"

October 7, 2018

VALNTN (Valentin Fritz) is a Los Angeles based songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer who broke into the music scene in 2016. The soothing singer aspired to study film composition and did so from Berklee College of Music, Boston. Originally from Germany, he found love in music at the age of 5. He is a sort after music producer with a distinctive electronic pop approach to his arrangement.

The singer’s break out single Can’t let go (ft. Emilia Ali) sold over 100,000 copies, earning over 12 million streams of Spotify. He has been featured by TRESemmé to Mr. Suicide Sheep. The artist’s latest is written by Peter Fenn, Tray Haggerty and himself. Using his distinct arrangement and mixing skills for the track, he has co-produced it with Peter Fenn.

Mona Lisa has a soft-ballad yet catchy vibe infused with a freshness that is well timed on the production line. VALNTN initially struggled with his German accent, however, finding acceptance in his being different from the mainstream vocal accents. The mysterious pitch to his voice quality adds a special element of joy that makes you want to listen further.

Brooklyn Semhar waxes melancholic and laments a family divided on “Daddy.” This track is a smouldering, slow-burning groove that pulls itself along with all the moodiness of its subject matter. It is arranged beautifully, and reflects a refreshing jazz influence in its...
