The slightly detuned synth wobbles on the hook made this one stand out further to me. The undertones of the whole production are very lush and powerful though as usual and as expected from graves. EZI has a nice, sultry tone that really carries a sense of emotion.

"I'm Fine" is the lead single from Graves' (aka Christian Mochizuki) forthcoming sophomore EP, Far From Here. Graves (spelt graves) is an electronic producer and DJ known for his emotionally sophisticated, and progressive style. Often citing bands like Bring Me The Horizon and the Deftones as inspirations, graves has an uncanny ability to weave in and out of genres. Mochizuki was put on the map working as a producer and engineer on Kanye West’s Grammy Award winning 2010 album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Also during this period, he earned credits on albums by Kid Cudi, Justin Bieber, Big Sean, and others.

I'm Fine is an ode to those who mask their insecurities and issues. It is an encouraging message for those struggling to speak up and not just pretend they're fine. A good message to the anxious youth, listen and watch below.

Brooklyn Semhar waxes melancholic and laments a family divided on “Daddy.” This track is a smouldering, slow-burning groove that pulls itself along with all the moodiness of its subject matter. It is arranged beautifully, and reflects a refreshing jazz influence in its...
