Toronto-based pop-rock quartet Jane's Party - comprised of Devon Richardson, Tom Ionescu, Jeff Giles, and Zach Sutton -  just released their fourth album, Casual Island.

Touching on relationships, politics, the pervasiveness of technology, and the intractability of human nature, the album is carried by the breezy riffs and lush vocal harmonies that have become the pop-rock quartet’s hallmark.

The latest single from the album, “Satellite” has already gotten plays from Indie88, SiriusXM The Verge and CBC R2. The song is a dance-y anthem recalling the emotions of love at first sight.

“You were there in the crowd in your Louboutins.
And I wont ever forget just what I saw.
With your high heels on and your braided crown,
You lit that place oh it was burning down.
No, I wont ever forget just what I saw.”

Jane’s party will be performing at The Horseshoe Tavern on April 6. Stream their new album "Casual Island" below:

Brooklyn Semhar waxes melancholic and laments a family divided on “Daddy.” This track is a smouldering, slow-burning groove that pulls itself along with all the moodiness of its subject matter. It is arranged beautifully, and reflects a refreshing jazz influence in its...

Canadian singer-songwriter Kiesza is back! After the enormous popularity of her 2014 house-pop single ‘Hideaway’, she went on collaborate with a stunning array of famous names. Names like Skrillex, Diplo, and Duran Duran, to name a few. Tragically, her career was put o...

Payson Lewis has released an anthemic new single called “Nothing To You”, and it’s really good! Payson has had a diverse career, singing with national orchestras, starring in theatrical performances, acting on TV shows, and now it seems his talent has been channelled i...
