Conan’s new track “The King” follows hot on the heels of his successful EP.
Conan notes that his new track “is a song I wrote about a massive crush I had on someone who just wouldn’t admit they liked me back. In my case the person would always call me up late at night, talk about me constantly to their friends, and even show up at my house unannounced. So, I wrote this song as a last straw; as a ‘Hey, you’re not fooling anyone, we’re perfect for each other, and you should choose me.”
The Tempo of “The King” is more upbeat than previous tracks on Conan’s EP. He has written a number of successful songs that fans find relatable and “The King” is no exception. He describes the challenges of a seemingly unattainable relationship, and the pain of waiting with this catchy new track. With a song that gives off Lorde like vibes, he has created an anthem that fans will enjoy. His strong vocals are paired with a dynamic beat to create another successful single. This song shows the versatility of Conan’s style and excites about what is to come from this new artist.
