Wenketa was born in the United States and raised in West Africa. He returned to the USA as a teenager and got his lucky break producing for “Ice Cube” under the name “Yung Focus”. He then went on to ghost produce for “Havoc” of Mobb Deep and built quite the rapport with many other major artists including Rihanna and wrote her track ‘B*tch better have my money’.

In 2019 he created the new alias “Wenketa” and released his first single ‘Breathe Slow’ on February 21. The track has already over six thousand streams and 100 favourites on Spotify. Wenketa claims this is his first venture in RNB - NEO SOUL and is excited to show us more!
