This L.A duo, courtship. brings us a dreamy, light-hearted but tell-it-like-it-is single "Number 1."

Whether you're cruising down the highway or slow-dancing, this breezy slow-burner has got a 70's-inspired sound that'll have you remembering all the times you weren't quite good enough. Yikes. Cascading piano fills the track and retro vocals bring to life the poignant message, "Baby you're fun, but you'll never be number one."

The duo elaborate, "We wrote this song because we all know what it feels like to be number 2. Not good. The line 'baby you're fun, but you'll never be number one' sums it up perfectly."

courtship. (Eli and Micah) sound like the musical lovechild of Tame Impala and Vampire Weekend. You'll hear the vocal tone resemblance. Their summery, 70's-inspired sound brings good vibes to poignant and heart-felt messages. The duo have garnered the attention of many from placements on Spotify's New Music Friday to blog love from mxdwn, Hillydilly, HITS Daily Double, and many more.

Brooklyn Semhar waxes melancholic and laments a family divided on “Daddy.” This track is a smouldering, slow-burning groove that pulls itself along with all the moodiness of its subject matter. It is arranged beautifully, and reflects a refreshing jazz influence in its...
